Tractor is a very common agricultural transportation tool, which is widely used in agricultural production and daily life. However, wrong operation will not only fail to maximize the function of the tractor, but will also cause various failures and even shorten the service life of the tractor. Therefore, it is necessary to master some basic knowledge of use and maintenance. The following matters need attention:

1. Avoid idling at low speed for a long time

Long-term low-speed idling of the engine is harmful: low oil pressure will cause poor lubrication of parts; low water temperature of the engine, water vapor condenses inside the engine, causing corrosion of parts and deterioration of the oil;

2. Avoid long-term overload

The tractor's rated speed and load have strict regulations. If the specified range is exceeded for a long time, it will accelerate the wear of parts and greatly shorten the service life of the tractor.

3. Avoid increasing the throttle to flush the car after the car is trapped

After the tractor is stuck, the faster the speed, the easier it is for the chain tractor to slip; the wheeled tractor will slip in the paddy field and the drive wheels will not accelerate. Therefore, after the tractor sinks, if you increase the throttle and push the car, it will sink deeper and deeper, and even break the half shaft and damage the gear.

4. Avoid slamming the gear lever

The gear lever should be balanced and easy-going. If you can’t get into gear once, you can loosen the clutch pedal, engage the clutch briefly, and then depress the clutch pedal to re-engage. If there is still a squeaking noise, the problem of unclear clutch separation should be eliminated.

5. Avoid starting at high speed and big throttle

The correct method is: gradually increase the accelerator, slowly loosen the clutch pedal, so that the clutch can be engaged steadily, so that the tractor starts smoothly, which is convenient for the fuel injection pump regulator to adjust the fuel supply, and can also prevent the flameout at the start and avoid damage to the drive train.

6. Avoid frequent emergency braking

Emergency braking is likely to cause accelerated wear of the parts of the engine, drive train, walking mechanism and other parts, especially the irregular tire wear. The braking is divided into deceleration braking and predictive braking. Deceleration braking is first to reduce the throttle, using the "point brake" method.

7. Avoid slamming the throttle

The sudden increase in engine speed increases the impact load of the crank connecting rod mechanism and the valve mechanism; in a short period of time, the cylinder is insufficiently inhaled, and the incomplete combustion increases the carbon deposits and accelerates the wear of the moving parts; the engine is just started, the temperature is low, and the oil The viscosity is large. If the throttle is slammed, the oil pressure will increase sharply, which will easily cause damage to the seals of the oil filter and other places, resulting in oil leakage.

8. Avoid sharp turns at high speed

Towing agricultural implements or transportation operations are not allowed to make sharp turns at high speed. When the farm implements in the field are not raised, they should not turn sharply or turn, otherwise, the traction resistance will increase and the farm implements will be easily damaged.

9. In summer, the temperature is high, the lubricating oil will become thinner. Therefore, the winter oil for the oil pan and filter should be discharged and cleaned, and replaced with No. 14 diesel engine oil for summer; the gear oil in the gearbox and rear axle housing should be replaced with No. 30 gear oil.

10. The scale in the water tank, water jacket, and radiator should be carefully removed. The outside of the radiator should also be kept clean. Clean water should be used for the cooling water.

11. Cooling water volatilizes quickly in summer operations and should be replenished in time. If the water tank is "boiled", do not add cooling water immediately to prevent the engine from exploding. It is necessary to idling for a period of time at low throttle and low speed, and then add cooling water after the water temperature drops.

12. The summer tire pressure is lower than the standard pressure by 2%-3% to run-flat tires. The tractor should be shaded after parking to prevent the tires from aging and deterioration after exposure to the hot sun.
